About Qualia Wines
When the European pioneers first tilled the fertile soils of inland Australia 140 years ago they thought they had found the “promised land”.
Who knows what they would think of that today. Qualia Wine Services was founded in December 2009 but you can trace their roots back to 1887 to one of the earliest viticultural pioneers.
“Qualia” is from the Latin word meaning “what sort” or “what kind”. It is a term used in philosophy to describe how we sense the things around us.
At Qualia Wine Services you will sense freshness, life, service, authentic quality and personality.
This QWS winery is located near Mildura, North Western Victoria in the famous Murray Darling region at the intersection of the Victorian, New South Wales and South Australian borders.

The Little Eden Wine Company
* Two contemporary and well-presented wines make up the exciting duo of Little Eden Wine Company wines – Moscato and Pinot Noir. These are ideal on-premise wines.
* The Little Eden Wine Company plays homage to EJ “Cocky” Roberts, an early settler with a great vision.
* EJ was a city dweller lured to the Australian countryside seeking a more relaxed and peaceful life.
* He created a haven in the Mildura region – his own “Little Eden”
* This is the place where EJ’s dreams to establish his own vineyards and orchards came into being.
* Available varieties are Moscato and Pinot Noir.
The Spee Wah Legend Continues
Crooked Mick lived on the Spee Wah. He was the best at everything. He is literally larger than life – needing to go outside, just to turn around. He eats two sheep every lunch time and uses small trees for toothpicks. When he was born, he started growing so fast that his father tried to slow his growth by ring-barking his legs. It didn’t work, but it did give him a nasty limp – and the name Crooked Mick!
“If ever you come across anyone who claims to have spent time on the Spee Wah or met Crooked Mick, listen to them with deep respect, for they will be a prodigious liar”. Bill Wannan
In modern times, these wonderful fireside stories have all but disappeared. With so many other options for entertainment (e.g. radio, film. television.) and the impossibility of realising such absurd tales, most people are unfamiliar with Crooked Mick or the Spee Wah.
These wonderful, truly Australian fairy tales have almost been lost..
